Not all surveys are the same. Familiarize yourself with the typical surveys we see on a day-to-day basis and determine which one may fit your needs!
A boundary survey is a survey whose primary purpose is to document the perimeter, or any portion thereof, of a parcel or tract of land by establishing or re-establishing corners, monuments, and boundary lines, such as for the purposes of describing the parcel.
A Boundary Survey that also includes the location of all improvements made to the property. Examples of this include but are not limited to the buildings on the property, driveways, fences not along the boundary lines.
A Subdivision is typically done in hand with a Boundary Survey to divide a parcel or tract into 2 or more lots. These are done either for commercial use (where the lots will be sold) or for private use (typically for families to be able to divide large tracts amongst themselves or for the heirs).
A survey whose purpose is to lay out on the ground plans for civil design. Examples of this are laying out the footprint of a concrete slab for a building, staking curb and gutter, staking the edge of asphalt, setting horizontal control for building pad elevations, etc.
Our topographic surveys provide detailed information about the natural and man-made features of your property. We use state-of-the-art equipment to produce accurate and reliable surveys that are used for a variety of purposes, including land-use planning and engineering design.
Our ALTA/NSPS surveys provide comprehensive information about a property's boundaries, easements, and improvements. We work closely with our clients to provide surveys that meet all applicable standards and regulations.
Our FEMA flood certificates help you understand your property's flood risk and determine whether flood insurance is necessary. We use the latest data and technology to provide accurate and reliable information that meets all federal and state requirements.
Our as-built surveys provide accurate and detailed information about the layout and dimensions of existing structures. This is typically done at the conclusion of a construction project where all new construction and old features left from before construction started are graphically shown on a plat to prove the site was completed as the engineering plans show them.
